Hatsune Miku Sings with the NHK Symphony Orchestra in March of 2016

For the first time ever, Hatsune Miku will be performing alongside the NHK Symphony Orchestra as a special guest at the “N Sounds CLASSICS x POPS with SPECIAL ARTISTS” concert that celebrates the 90th anniversary of the founding of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. The performance will be accomplished using Crypton Future Media’s “real time 3DCG control system” software, which will allow Miku to tailor her performance to the conductor’s directions and the orchestra’s movements in real time. Other guests for the event include actress / singer Tetsuko Kuroyanagi and singer / song-writer Ringo Sheena. Kazumasa Watanabe will serve as conductor.

The “N Sounds CLASSICS x POPS with SPECIAL ARTISTS” concert takes place on March 22, 2016, and the NHK Hall venue in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The performance will also be broadcast at a later date on NHK Television. For more information, please check out the official concert home page (in Japanese) here.
