Voca-P: A New English-Centric Podcast Hosted by Demo VD & Whisper-P

Hello everyone! My name is RenegadeMizu. Before I start with my first article, I’d like to introduce myself a bit. I’m the newish Article Section Admin here at MikuDB. I’m a pretty heavy lurker, so you probably haven’t seen me around much. Trying to get that changed though, since the community here seems really cool (especially you crazy people in the Discord chat lol). I got into Vocaloid music a couple years back when I tried out the Project Diva f demo on my Vita. Being a huge Rhythm Game fan, I was instantly hooked and it’s only gone “downhill” since. Anyways, I’ll be trying to do some articles here and there to help my team out. I’ll probably be focusing on games (maybe review some?), with some music and general news articles here and there. To start things off, I’ll be talking a little bit about a new podcast that we were informed of here at MikuDB. The name of it is Voca-P, and it’ll be hosted by Demo VD and Whisper-P. The main focus of the podcast will, of course, be on Vocaloids. This’ll include music, reviews, and even interviews. Demo & Whisper-P are also planning to discuss other topics such as anime, video games, and other otaku related topics. Listening to the podcast, I realized that I really don’t know much about the English Vocaloid community outside of some of the really popular producers, so a podcast like this could really be informative. Vocallective is willing to help promote them if they do well enough in their first few episodes, and I’d really like to see that happen for the benefit of the English Vocaloid community. With some experience and the backing of the Vocaloid community, I really think Demo and Whisper-P can do a good job with this.
