Lucky number 20! Can’t believe it’s been 20 albums already. To somehow celebrate this, I picked up an album that may be foreign to some, but made by livetune. What? It’s made by livetune, should be famous, right? Well if it was famous, I should be hearing tracks from this album all day! Usually these songs are overshadowed, so time to shine some light on them. This is perfect for the winter, and what better way to celebrate it with Vocaloid, right?

What I like
スノウ・ダンス (Snow Dance) [Track 1] fits the snow theme perfectly. Did I mention how overshadowed this album was? IT’S ALMOST UNKNOWN!!! WHAT?! I’m beyond shocked by now. I tried searching this up on Youtube, and this wasn’t the first search? Like, this album had ryo in it, how and why? This song was cheerful and perfect for the festive season, even so excellent for Christmas. How is this not famous? Please everyone, shed more light onto this album, it deserves more than what it gets now! This song is an example of old is gold. This album was released 6 years ago, and until now, it doesn’t sound close to bad. It’s still as exciting and as energetic. 5 stars, this song has not made me bored until now. I love it to death.
Contrary Love [Track 2] is my personal favorite. If you’d ask me which livetune song is best, this is one of them. This song has a very gentle feel and it is not too slow either. It’s paced nicely with the fast melodic background and from some research; Miku was simply a backup voice. A real human is singing in this album, but that does not mean you can’t feel her voice, especially since Miku is in the album art. If I want to recommend people to dance during winter, like, if you don’t know what to dance to and the genre is winter? Please pick this.
Twinkle Melody Twinkle Memory [Track 4] is also one of the best tracks out there. 5 stars, don’t question. This song gives me goosebumps like, every time. This song is the true definition of winter dance aside from Contrary Love. In fact, either one of these songs would be more than a treat for a dance. I’d fangay these any day. The composition is smooth, the tempo is comfortable and although Miku’s voice is high pitched, it does not get pitched way too high to the point where it gets very uncomfortable. Please listen to it, it’s worth it.
What I don’t like
スノウ・ダンス [Dr.ARM Remix / Dr.ARM] (Snow Dance) [Track 5] just doesn’t get it right. It feels, weird… Like, the original was nice because it goes together so perfectly that it’s comfortable. This remix feels, weird… It just doesn’t fit the song’s personality. I guess it just lacks the oomph…
Personal Opinions
アメフリ (Google Translate states that this means, wet…? Literally, it says ‘Wet’.) [Track 3] is a little slow, and once again, I have this bias against slow songs. This one is one of them, but it’s not bad though, so yeah. It’s good, but perhaps not for me.
Contrary Love [mitsu remix) / mitsu] [Track 6] is not bad, but it’s not as good as it’s original. It lost its feel, the feel I got in the original. It doesn’t feel as great or as exciting, which is sad. But it’s a middle line for me. It doesn’t make me feel too weird really. I mean, melody is there, but, not as good.
アメフリ (Wet) [rremix / ryo] [Track 7] is a biased opinion because once the original doesn’t cut it for me, the remix may not cut for me as well, but! It’s by ryo, and of course, that means it should be better, right? Well, not for me because the original itself wasn’t enough to catch me, so this one is just alright. It’s better than the original, but I still don’t prefer it. In other words, ryo, good job, but it wasn’t my cup of tea.
Twinkle Melody Twinkle Memory [Sparkle Galaxy mix / KTG] [Track 8] is really fine, but not good enough somehow. I mean, it’s made by KTG, and I like KTG’s works as well (I’ll talk about it another day) so it was alright. Though, it doesn’t cut it for me for some reason, some may like this though, which is why it ends up here.

Will Deathspark buy this album? : IF I CAN ACTUALLY EVEN FIND IT!
Reason: If I recall, it was sold at Comic Fiesta 2013 in Malaysia, I think… I’m not sure, I can’t remember. livetune was there and I bought the shirt instead to support livetune. Oh well, if this album was brought into CF, I’ll buy it without any question.
5/5, there are two songs I somehow desperately want. I’d need to buy this album if I have the chance.
